Heritage Building Achieves Planning Milestone

Working with Horsforth Office Park Limited, part of the Gregory Property Group, AspinallVerdi have provided market research, financial modelling and viability services to assist with discussions to secure an appropriate planning consent for this Listed Building. The former Corn Mill was used by scrap dealers and had suffered from neglect and significant contamination.
A case was made that the building could not be restored for a number of inter-related factors including cost. It was of critical importance to our clients that the proposed scheme is attractive to the market place and that an occupier can be secured. An earlier consented scheme had failed to be implemented due to compromises in design and which were found to be financially non-viable.
The scheme can now progress with marketing of the new development.
