A joint venture between specialist regeneration and development consultants AspinallVerdi and leading surveying firm Eddisons has successfully been appointed to the Homes England Property Professional Services Framework.
The Homes England Framework provides councils and other public bodies with European procurement compliant access to a broader range of technical and design services to help with the delivery of new homes, while helping public bodies to dispose of their land more quickly.
The Framework will be used to commission property related services including: development consultancy, agency (site disposals and acquisitions), estate management, valuation, viability appraisal, financial services and project management.
A launch event for the Property Panel was held yesterday at the RICS head office in Central London, and featured key individuals from Homes England outlining the strategic aims and policy objectives the panel firms will need to address.
Ben Aspinall, Managing Director at AspinallVerdi, said: "We're delighted to have been appointed on the new framework with Eddisons.
“This continues AspinallVerdi’s existing relationship with Homes England. Recently we have been working with Homes England and local authorities across the country, advising on all aspects of housing delivery including the masterplanning and disposal of development sites and the viability of planning applications."
“By building on our experience of working with Homes England and combining with the agency and property management expertise of Eddisons, we can provide local authorities and other public sector clients with expert advice across the full range of property services.”
Eddisons Partner, Richard Roe, said: “Together, Eddisons and AspinallVerdi have successfully demonstrated our combined capability and competitiveness to deliver services through the Homes England tender process.”
"It's an exciting time to be involved with helping the government deliver against its housing objectives and we’re naturally thrilled to have been awarded a place on the property framework panel.”
Homes England (formerly the Homes and Communities Agency) is the government's national housing agency responsible for the delivery of sufficient new homes and to deliver a sustained improvement in affordability. Alongside building new homes, Homes England also invests in creating employment floorspace and other infrastructure across the country.
