Background

CO2Sense is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping businesses and organisations prepare for the challenges of climate change, and pursue longterm growth. CO2Sense was a subsidiary of Yorkshire Forward located in their headquarters offices in Leeds. Following the closure of the RDA, their offices were sold and CO2Sense was required to relocate very quickly.

Requirement

AspinallVerdi responded quickly. We:

• Assisted CO2Sense to refine their requirements in terms of specification and location.
• Accompanied CO2Sense on viewing of various office buildings in Leeds City Centre.
• Agreed a shortlist of suitable accommodation and negotiated heads of terms.
• Agreed the floor areas and the Lease Plan. 

Outcome

We were able to agree competitive terms for 6,230 sqft in the East and South Wing of Marshall Mills. The offices were already in the process of being refurbished. We agreed various modifications to the specification and the programme in order to achieve the deadline date. The lease was signed within 1 month of AspinallVerdi being instructed.
